The best of times.

There are some people in your life that remain for the duration. Maybe not daily..or even weekly, but they're always there. That person is my best friend. She's been there since we were 11. We were inseparable. My favorite memories of my childhood are with her, or my parents. We had an immense amount of fun. No cares in the world. Beach everyday of summer...doing the dumbest shit...having a damn blast. I would give anything to relive those moments. Neither of us knew our lives would turn out the way they have. We have shared heartache and loss together. Good times. Bad times. The best of times. And anything in between. 
Everyone should have someone in their lives that fits into that category. Someone that shares a bond with you no one else can replace.
One of my favorite memories is a fishing birthday trip my Dad took us on. It was just us and him. We fished...we swam...then we ran across something we have never seen or even heard of. In the middle of this horseshoe inlet off Ft. Pickens there were thousands of starfish. Thousands. My dad made us jump out and get some. They were sticking to our feet...we were flipping out. It was the best. Words don't do it justice. I would relive that day in a heartbeat.
I don't know if you'll ever read this...but if you do, know that I love you. I hope one day I can be there for you as you have been me. I couldnt imagine what my life would have been without you in it, or what it would be without you now. Xoxo.
